Volunteer Circle…

photo of a volunteer assisting the Sisters with the olive harvestThe Dominican Sisters mission and programs are supported by more than 300 volunteers annually.  Our volunteers work behind the scenes and alongside our Sisters – in Motherhouse gardens and offices, interacting with elder sisters or staffing booths at our Annual Holiday Boutique.

Motherhouse Volunteers Opportunities:

  • Elder Sisters – visits and shared activities with our Sisters in St. Martin Residence.
  • General Office Support – prepare mailings, seasonal shipping, wrapping, Microsoft Office expertise
  • Hospitality Assistance – Jubilee celebrations (May) and Motherhouse events and receptions
  • Organic and Community Garden – seasonal planting, weeding and harvesting
