Open Wide Our Hearts: Exploring Racism and Diversity

This 4-part series will begin on October 12, 2019. The second part will be October 26. Sessions resume on February 8, 2020 and finish February 22. All sessions in both October 2019 and February 2020 will be 9:30AM to 12PM. Facilitators to these sessions are S. Marcia Krause, O.P. and S. Marietta Fahey, SHF.

In the October sessions we’ll explore the challenge today to “do justice, love goodness, and walk humbly with our God.” (Micah 6:8)

  • October 12: Exporing Racism: What is it to "DO JUSTICE" in our world today?
  • October 26: Exploring Racism: What is it to "LOVE GOODNESS/WALK HUMBLY WITH GOD"?

In the February sessions, we’ll discover the reality of cultural diversities and collaborations in Fremont as we interact with persons involved. Both sessions will provide opportunity for deep listening, open dialogue, prayer, and possibilities for faith in action!
