Faith and Hope Art Show: Beyond Prison Walls, Art of the Incarcerated

The Partnership for Re-Entry Program (PREP) is pleased to Present the annual Faith & Hope Art Show & John August Swanson.

St. Monica Parish will host PREP’s Faith & Hope Art of the Incarcerated: Beyond Prison Walls in the Grand Pavilion July 13-14 after all the Masses at 701 California Ave, Santa Monica, CA 90403. Sister Mary Sean directs the PREP re-entry ministry in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, working mainly with long-term inmates in prisons thru correspondence courses to effect change in their lives. PREP also helps parolees when they release to transition back into the community.

This is the 12th year of the art show. You are invited to look at the art pieces, choose one that speaks to your heart and purchase it for the designated price, negotiate the price or simply ask to have this piece if it has meaning for you. We ask you to pray for the artist, the prison, and for the change of heart for all who are incarcerated. We also invite you to sign the thank you letter to Governor Gavin Newsom for declaring a moratorium on the death penalty.
