Boundless Compassion: Creating a Way of Life

This series is a seven week personal transformation process for developing and deepening compassion. Using Boundless Compassion, we will explore ways to deepen our understanding of compassion, the central quality of the life and teachings of Jesus. The book includes daily material, organized around a weekly theme, giving examples of how to enter into difficult situations, helping us respond to suffering in ourselves and others, and suggesting “ways to interact with the extensive differences that trouble our world.”

Joyce Rupp describes herself as a “spiritual midwife" and is a Servite sister, inspiring retreat leader, and conference speaker. She has written over 14 books, including favorites The Cup of Our Lives and Praying Our Goodbyes. Joyce is co-director, with Sr. Margaret Stratman, of the Servite Center of Compassionate Presence, in Omaha, Nebraska.

This series will begin on October 1, 2019 and run through October 8, 15, 22, 29, November 5, and 12. Sessions will be 10:30AM to 12PM. A copy of Boundless Compassion is needed for this workshop. Please purchase beforehand and read the introduction.

NOTE: Group size is limited. A Spring 2020 group will repeat the material of this Fall group.
