Daytime Memory Care

photo from ASEB ribbon cuttingAlzheimer’s Services of the East Bay (ASEB) Mission San Jose

The Dominican Sisters renovated their Motherhouse Siena building to host an adult day health care program, which is operated by Alzheimer’s Services of the East Bay (ASEB). The program is licensed to serve 50 adults and includes an attractive, secure memory garden.

Professional, loving daytime care supports adults, sisters and veterans with dementia and other cognitive disorders. Music, arts, gardening and nutritious food preparation activities build a welcoming sense of community and care. Dominican Sisters volunteer in the program and serve on the ASEB Mission San Jose nursing staff.
