Recognizing the transformative power of shared prayer, each community prays with the Gospel and other spiritual readings on a regular basis. Sharing the Word of God through song, music, dance and art is part of the rich heritage of our congregation. Each community begins and ends each day with common prayer. We share prayer intentions throughout the day by posting them on prayer boards and online and by sending them in letters and email. You are welcome to share your own prayer intentions with us by writing to requestprayers@msjdominicans.org. You are invited to join us in praying the Liturgy of the Hours, Liturgy of the Eucharist, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Taize.
Motherhouse Summer Liturgy Schedule
Liturgy of the Hours: Morning Prayer: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 7:30 am Evening Prayer: Monday - Friday at 5:15 pm
Daily Eucharist: Monday-Wednesday following Evening Prayer at 5:15. Thursday and Friday 7:30 am before Morning Prayer.
Sunday Eucharist: Following Morning Prayer at 10:00 am
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
Sunday: 4:00 pm
Taize - Every 3rd Friday 8:00 - 9:15 pm
The public is invited to join us in the Motherhouse Chapel for meditative song and contemplative prayer around the Cross. Followed by tea and refreshments.
