New Frontiers

Community is both a support and expression of our preaching mission. We grow in unity as we break bread around the Table of the Lord and share our lives around the table of community.  The community exists for the sake of the mission. The needs of today’s Church have challenged us to build community in new places in order to respond to the call to serve God’s people in new places.

We listen to the voice of the Spirit to make wise choices about where to build new missions and when to let go with grace. We trust in Divine Providence to support and uphold us.  In this millennium we have established new missions in Five Points in pastoral ministry with the farm workers and their families at La Sagrada Familia in the Fresno Diocese of California and with the indigenous at Santa Maria Cabahon in Alta Verapaz, Guatemala.

Our newest mission Santa Maria, Cahabón in Guatemala was blessed by the Congregation gathered at the 23rd General Chapter in July 2008.
