The Dominican Sisters Vision of Hope was created to ensure the quality, affordability and vibrant future of 8 inner-city Dominicans Schools, five in the greater Los Angeles Area and three in the Bay Area, and the children and communities they serve. Under the umbrella of the Dominican Sisters Vision of Hope each school has a development director responsible for generating broad-based community support. Thanks to the generosity of loyal donors Vision of Hope currently has a permanent endowment of $9.2 million and has distributed to the schools over $ 9.6 million, including $5.4 million in tuition assistance, since 2004 when distributions began.
