Our curriculum is a full day kindergarten (8:20-2:45) five days a week. The educational program has a developmental approach to learning, in an environment which guarantees each child’s right to learn in a safe, positive, and loving environment.
Our classroom is characterized by respectful and nurturing relationships, a carefully planned environment, and a curriculum that is developmentally appropriate, interesting, and meaningful to children.

Dominican Kindergarten values the Dominican tradition of educational excellence.  The staff is dedicated to the development of the whole child.  All aspects of our program are designed to enhance the spiritual, psychological, physical, social, and academic growth of each child.

Our goal is to nurture in our students a good relationship to God and one another, emphasizing Christian values and behavior.

We want our students to be excited about learning so we can provide them with opportunities that make them want to be life-long learners.

We honor the parents’ role as the primary educators and work with them in providing for the religious, moral, and academic development of their children.

Dominican Kindergarten is a feeder school of St. Joseph Parish School. All students who have successfully completed the course of studies at Dominican Kindergarten and who have tested ready for first grade will be given priority and will automatically be admitted to St. Joseph School’s first grade.
